About us

Stainsby Grange is a family run businness and is situated in The North East of England at Thornaby next to the A19.

We are a BHS Approved Riding School and hold shows everyweekend throughout the indoor season. These shows include BS Showjumping, and Unaffiliated Showjumping

Facilities

The Facilites Stainsby Grange has to offer include two large Indoor riding schools, One which is our Main Indoor showjumping arena, and the other which we use for a warm up when we have show cafeteria and viewing gallery.  Three indoor stable yards one for the riding school and two for liveries and a class room for our pony club.

We have a large indoor livery facility which includes use of indoor arenas, we take livery from DIY, Full or tailor made to suit your personnel requirements. We also have a horsewalker

Speciality

Aswell as The BHS Approved riding school which teaches pupils from beginner to advanced we specalise in showjumping tution to a National competition level. With our riders winning in Europe and major championships in Great Britain.

 

************THE STAR OF THE NORTH GALA NIGHT OF SHOW JUMPING 2015*************

Over the winter season 2014/2015  Stainsby Grange EC & JM Equestrian will be running a points table with the top 10 Rider/Combinations going forward to the Star of The North Gala Night of Show Jumping to be held at Stainsby Grange Friday April 24th 2015.  Everyone welcome to watch this spectacular of Show jumping.Qualifiers will run at all BS shows starting September 2014 at all Stainsby Grange/JM shows. Try your luck at ‘Alans Tote Betting’ and enjoy the Bar & Food.  All welcome, free admission.Qualification 1st x 10 points, 2nd x 8 points, 3rd x 6 points, 4th x 4 points and 5th x 2 points. Points taken from all shows ran September to end March.    Points table available to read at every show and on both websites. Qualified riders may only ride1 qualified horse in each section in the final to enable everyone to have a chance, therefore qualification will go down the line if necessary.If for any reason any of the finalists cannot compete in the final then the next combination will go forward.                                                                               ***************************************************The top 10 Senior combinations will compete for a 1st prize of £200 & Second place will receive £100.The top 10 Pony combinations will compete in the final to win a £100 Second place will receive £75Plus prizes so far donated  by Mountain Horse & Bartl Sheepskin.     PONY SECTIONSAll SPO classesNovice, Discovery & Newcomer classes1m classes and above to include Fox etc.*************SENIOR SECTIONSNovice up to 375 point which is NewcomersIntermediate 376 up to 1000Open section from 1.20 and 1.30 classesStar of the North Small Open class points from any opens up to and including 1.05mContact Janice 07906468450 / Paula 07775812441
